Xavier Naville is a quadrilingual business leader with a track record of massive success in businesses around the world. Born in France, Xavier excelled from an early age. He was a member of the French National fencing team, graduated with highest honors from one of the most prestigious business schools in Europe, and spent a long and fruitful career in international business, including starting one of the largest food processing companies in China, which served restaurants chains like Starbucks, KFC, and McDonald's.
Xavier is also the author of “The Lettuce Diaries: How a Frenchman Found Gold Growing Vegetables in China,” a terrific book that lays out the story of a snobbish French businessman who through trial and error and a lot of hard work found success in China’s manure-soaked fields.
In this episode, Xavier and I talk about how we are all connected across the globe, the tight integration of global supply chains, the lessons he learned doing business in China, and his overall business philosophy and approach.
And now I give you, Xavier Naville.
